Alford is a popular town in Aberdeenshire and lies approximately 28 miles west of Aberdeen. Main Street is considered to be the commercial thoroughfare of the town and forms part of the A944, the route connecting the city centre with Mossat, via Westhill and Sauchen. The subjects comprise a self-contained office suite within an end of terrace, traditional building of granite construction under a pitched and slated roof. The building was formerly part dwelling house and part bakery. The subjects are arranged over ground and first floor with mansard roof. The ground floor currently provides a mixture of open plan and cellular office accommodation and also benefits from a modern, full height glazed frontage on to Main Street providing a high level of visibility and enhancing the property's prominence. The first floor comprises cellular offices but there is potential for conversion back to residential accommodation.
