LOCATION Hole in the Wall Street is located within the historic 13th century castle walls in a part of the town which has some very interesting architecture and narrow side streets featuring a fascinating range of independent retailers, cafés, bistro bars and restaurants. Just a short walk is the main town square and a good range of high street shops too, not the mention the main focal point of the castle. Situated on the banks of the Menai Strait, theres much to see and do regarding messing about in boats with maritime and marina facilities readily to hand, fishing and crabbing opportunities for youngsters and even pleasure rides along the tidal waters of the Strait. Caernarfon boast a number of schools and leisure facilities which include gymnasium facilities, swimming pool, a thriving theatre, indoor karting and climbing. The town is also a main hub for public transport - the excellent road network allows for easy travel into the university city of Bangor and the area's beauty spots such as the mountains of Snowdonia and the nearby coastline with its numerous coves and fine sandy beaches.
