Harlow is a town and district in Essex, bordering Hertfordshire and London. It has a population of 82,059.

The settlement in ‘Old Harlow’ has been around since the early medieval period. Many historic buildings still stand in the area, including a number of high-street buildings that hail back to the early Victorian period. Harlow’s ‘New Town’ area was constructed in the years following WW2 to help house displaced families from London, who had lost their homes in the Blitz.
