Loanhead lies approximately 5 miles due south of Edinburgh City Centre just outside the Edinburgh ring-road, The City of Edinburgh Bypass (A720). To the rear is an overgrown garden with some trees and a single storey brick lean-to building, the site bound by stone and brick walls and fencing. To the rear lies a sheltered housing development operated by Trust Housing Association who have an access route and rights across the site as shown on the plan included. Internally the property is in a state of disrepair and requires substantial upgrading and remedial works. We estimate that the ground floor footprint of the buildings extends to approx. 9,110 sq. ft. (846.36 sq.m.). The footprint of the stone building is around 7,408 sq. ft. (688.28 sq. m.) or thereby.
